CODE OF CONDUCT

The Student Code of Conduct outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and standards of behaviour for students to maintain a respectful, safe, and productive learning environment. Students are required to:

1. General Behaviour

  • Respect all members of the institute community, including peers, teachers, and staff.
  • Be honest, responsible, and uphold integrity in all actions.
  • Follow college rules and regulations at all times, on and off-campus.

2. Academic Integrity

  • Submit original work and avoid plagiarism or cheating in any form.
  • Respect intellectual property and give proper credit to sources.
  • Seek clarification from teachers if unsure about assignment guidelines or academic expectations.

3. Attendance and Punctuality

  • Attend all classes regularly and be on time.
  • Inform relevant authorities about any absences in advance, if possible.
  • Participate actively in class and complete all assignments on time.

4. Respect for Property and Environment

  • Take care of institute’s property and keep the premises clean.
  • Avoid vandalism, graffiti, or theft.
  • Use institutional resources responsibly, including technology and equipment.

5. Use of Technology

  • Use college technology for educational purposes only.
  • Avoid accessing inappropriate content or using devices to bully or harass others.
  • Follow the institution’s acceptable use policy for the internet and electronic devices.

6. Dress Code

  • Follow the college dress code guidelines.
  • Wear appropriate attire that is respectful and non-disruptive to the learning environment.

7. Harassment and Bullying

  • Treat others with kindness and respect; bullying, harassment, discrimination, or violence will not be tolerated.
  • Report incidents of bullying or harassment to a teacher, counsellor, or administrator.

8.Health and Safety

  • Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Avoid bringing prohibited items such as weapons, drugs, or alcohol to college.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive environment for everyone.

9. Extracurricular Activities

  • Represent the institute with pride and respect during events and activities.
  • Follow the same standards of behaviour as expected in the classroom.

10. Disciplinary Action

  • Students who violate the code of conduct may face consequences, including counselling, suspension, or other disciplinary measures based on the severity of the offense.
